Raksha Bandhan: Observances by The Students of VKV Badarpur

This year the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Badarpur observed the Raksha Bandhan after two years of Covid restrictions. Students prepared the Rakhi in school and those Rakhis were tied up by the students the next day. Significances of the day were discussed during the assembly to make students realize the value of the small but precious thread. Both the pre-primary schools observed it, where KG-I and KG-II students can be seen enjoying their first Rakhi. The students also visited some nearby offices like Police Station, Power Grid, ITI, Fire Station & Circle Office for tying up Rakhi to the various members present during that period.
