World environment day

Observed World Environment Day on 5th June '15 in the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Badarpur school campus. Various trees were planted by the students and teachers of our school, spreading the massage of saving environment. Students made various play cards on the theme "GO GREEN" in Play Card Making Competition.

Bhasa Sahid Diwas

The programme was started with Mangalacharan followed by 11 no of pradip prajwalan and offering of flowers by all students, teachers and non-teaching staffs,in memory of those 11 Martyrs, who sacrificed their life for providing proper honour to the Mother Tongue. After that Sri Sayantan Chanda, Asstt.Teacher, of our school presented a speech upon the incident and the importance of the Day. The program concluded with Shanti Path.

Rabindra Jayanti

Rabindra Jayanti was observed on 9th May. The programme started with Mangalacharan followed by offering of flowers to the portrait of Rabindra Nath Tagore and Omkara. On the occasion a speech was delivered by Sri Amit Debnath Asstt.Teacher, about the life and messages of Rabindranath Tagore. House wise recitation of poems (written by Rabindranath Tagore) and group song (Rabindra Sangeet) competition was organised by the students of all classes. The programme ended with ShantiPath.

Vidyarambha & Barsharambha


VIDYARAMBHA BARSHARAMBHA
This year, Celebration of Vidyarambha & Barsharambha was organized in our new pre-primary (Section) school which was held on 20th April 2015. The programme started with puja of Gayetri Maa. Followed by pushpanjali by the students. After that new students were asked to write Om on the rice plate, which was guided by Smt Seuli Dasgupta, Asstt.Teacher of our school. One of the teacher was asked to put honey in the mouth of the child. The old students offered flowers on the feet of Maa Saraswati. At last prashad was also distributed. The programme was conducted by the members of Gyatri pariver.

Republic Day at VKV Badarpur

On 26th January our school observed 66th REPUBLIC DAY. The celebration was started by hosting The National Flag, by our Respected Head Master.  With that a speech was delivered by him. Meanwhile we got  Kalpana Didi as our Guest. Parade was their by our students of class- iv, v & vi. Patriotic song was sang. Then 'Go as you like' competition was followed by the little kids of our school.

Ramkrishna Jayanti

Ramakrishna Jayanti was observed on 18th February 2015. The programme started with Mangalacharan followed by offering of flowers by teachers, non-teaching staffs and students. Sri Soumyajit Dhar, Asstt. Teacher of the school in his speech has given some light on the life and works of Sri Ramkrishna followed by Bhajans which, presented by teachers and students of school. The programme ended with Shantipath.

Saraswati Puja Observed @ VKV Badarpur

On 25th January SARASWATI Puja was observed in the school. Students with their parents and guardian took part in the occasion. Puja was started at about 7:30 am. Pushpanjaly was followed at about 9:30am. Prashad distribution was started from 12 noon till 3:00 pm. The program was successful in all manners.
