OBSERVED INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2018

On 21 june 2018 International Yoga Day was observed across the nations. Similarly our school has also observed this day with great pomper and enthusiasm.
This year Fourth International Yoga Day was observed across the world. This year's aim was to raise awareness among the people world wide by practising yoga describing its benefits like mental, physical and spiritual.
This year the theme was "YOGA FOR PEACE". Our school has observed the occassion by arranging a short programme. The Programme started with Mangalacharan there after a short speech was given by our Principal Sir, Shri Prashanta Chakraborty. After the speech, demomstration was given the students of different classes. Total Twenty five students presented Yoga in front of the school. Suraj Sir who is a Seva Vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra has demonstrated some of the Yogasanas infront of the school at the end.
The students who secured position in the Yoga demomstration were :
  • 1st position - Smaranika Bhattacharjee of Class - IV.
  • 2nd position - Debasmita Chakraborty of Class - III.
  • 3rd position - Pankaj Dey of Class - VI.
One of the students of VKV Badarpur, Smaranika  Bhattacharjee secure 7th position in the 5th National Open Yogasana Competition held at Kolkata in 2017. She is one of the best Yoga performer in the entire district of Karimganj.

VIDYALAYA OBSERVED WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2018-19

On 5th of June 2018 World Environmental Day was observed across the country.
Similarly on the other hand our school  has also observed this day with great pomper and enthusiasm.
This day is specially observed to create awareness among the people of India to protect it from man made as well as natural disaster.This year India was the host country among the 143rd nations and the theme was 'BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION'.
On this occassion our school has observed by organising a short speech given by Shayanika Didi.
After the speech an extempore speech competition was there among the student of class VIII, IX & X. Various topics related to importance of environmental day, causes which is responsible and adversely affecting the environment, role of student to protect the environment were given to students to present their speech.
A tree sapling plantation programme was also held which was donated by the forestry department and the plantation programme took place by our students and teachers and Mukesh Ji, CEO of BVCL was also present in the programm. He has planted the tree sapling and delivered his valuable speech to express the importance of the day. With this the programme was concluded.
