Universal Brotherhood Day 2021

"Sisters and Brothers of America" - Swami Vivekananda represented India and Hinduism at the Parliament of the World's Religions (1893). This was the first World's Parliament of Religions, and it was held from 11 to 27 September 1893. 

This special day the Vidyalaya has celebrated the Universal Brotherhood Day through online mode. Students took part in various activities like Chicago speech competition in various classes, speech competition on the topic "work before us", dancing, poem recitation, singing.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2021

In this auspicious day the students of the Vidyalaya took part in various activities. Videos to know the greatness of Sri Ganesha being shared in the group. 

 

Srimanta Sankardev Tithi 2021

This auspicious occasion we did some of the activities in our Vidyalaya. Students were given various task to perform to recall the great saint of Assam. Students have drawn the picture of Sankardev, where as some students shared their view about Sri Sankardev by sending their videos. 

He lost his mother in the early age but it never stopped him to achieve his goal in life. Sankardev left a lasting mark on the religious and cultural life of Assam. He united the different castes and groups of people into one cultural unit through his wisdom.  He established monasteries even in the remotest of villages and brought Bhakti to the common people.

 

Teachers Day Celebration 2021

The Vidyalaya has celebrated Teacher’s Day online due to the pandemic in the presence of our Vidyalaya Head, Teachers, and Students from all the classes. It was organized by our Class VIII, IX, and X students. Poems, singing, dancing, PowerPoint presentation, videos were some of the ways through which our students tried to show their respect and love for their teachers. It was very good and emotional to see the dedication of our children towards their teacher. All the students were blessed by their teachers for their successful carrier.
