Celebrated October 2nd: Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti 2023

Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd, marks the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation in India. It is a national holiday dedicated to honoring his principles of non-violence, truth, and social harmony. Shastri Jayanti, observed on October 2nd as well, commemorates the birthday of Lal Bahadur Shastri, India's second Prime Minister. He was a strong advocate for social justice, and economic equality, and a symbol of simplicity and integrity. Both occasions serve as reminders of the enduring values that these leaders stood for, inspiring generations to come.

Our Vidyalaya celebrated 2nd October, 2023 with different competitions where different class groups participated. For KG students storytelling competitions were organized, and for classes I to V quiz competitions were organized. Class VI to X participated in the Debate competition. Before the competition significance of the day were shared by our teacher to motivate them to be brave, truthful, and peaceful in all kind of approach in their life.
